If you can get to
http://www.dynamicnet.net/,
http://www.wemanageservers.com/, and other sites we
host, there is a possibility you are in our automated
firewall system.
In order to verify that you are in our firewall, we need
you to go to
http://www.whatismyip.com/ from the computer you are
using to browse the Internet, get email, etc.
When you go to that site, you will be told the IP address
that our servers and other servers see when you visit their
site, get email, and so on.

Please call this IP address into our support department
toll free at
1-888-887-6727 or internationally at 1-717-484-1062.
If your email is working, please email the IP address, and
the domain name(s) you host with us to
support[at symbol goes here]dynamicnet.net
Our system administration team will then review our
firewall system to determine if you are in the system,
remove you under most conditions, and explain why your IP
address ended up in the system.
If you are our customer, being in the firewall system,
does not make you a hacker.
Our firewall and intrusion detection system is highly
automated. While we do not disclose our rule base to
the public for security reasons, please know that if you
got in the system accidentally, it was just that --
accidentally.
To clarify, accidentally generally means you may have
put in the wrong user id and password just one too many
times within a given period of time.
It could also mean your computer is infected with a worm
or virus, and our systems to protective countermeasures to
ensure none of the other customers we host would become
infected (aka quarantine).
Our support department can provide detailed answers to
questions you have if you find yourself in the system, and
want to know more about it.
There are generally four reasons why you cannot get to
your own Web site or get email. Here are the reasons
along with how to find out which one is applicable to your
situation:
- The most common is that your domain name expired or
has been put on hold by the registrar. Please see
=>
I think the Web server is up, but I cannot bring
up my site or get email; could it be that I forgot to
pay my domain name bill?
- The next most common situation is that you are within
our firewall system. Please see => I can
get to your Web site at dynamicnet.net, but
I cannot get to my Web site. Could I be in your
firewall?
- The 3rd reason is that our
domain name servers are down.
- The 4th reason is very similar to the 3rd in that
there are other servers down.
Three and four can be verified by visiting
http://dni.network-status.com/

Customers on our Parallels H-Sphere shared hosting platform can
quickly identify their servers by looking for "H =>" as
part of the Server Name. |
