Tell me more about the Anti-Virus protection for email hosting?

Email Anti-Virus Protection Fact Sheet

What is our Anti-Virus offering? Our Anti-Virus offering safeguards your hardware and software by eliminating the opportunity for your end users to receive and deploy harmful viruses via email.

Email is cleaned before it reaches the server so you can be confident that your users email will be virus free whether it is accessed by a POP client or through WebMail.
How does our anti-virus protection system work? We scan all incoming and outgoing email by subject, body, and attachment as they reach the mail server.

All harmful content is quarantined and a warning message is sent to the recipient and sender alerting them to the existence of the virus, and the name of the virus.

Our service checks all archives, exe files, and embedded files for over 7,000 viruses, worms, trojans, and hoaxes.
What are the features of this system?
  • Virtually 100% protection from email propagated viruses.
  • Warning messages sent to the sender and recipient.
  • Infrastructure is designed for minimal delays in processing email.

I already have Web site hosting, do I have to host my Web site with you?

While we would love to have you as one of our many satisfied hosting customers, you can retain your existing hosting services, and utilize our email hosting solution.

We are able to allow you this choice because all we need from your DNS provider is to have two records within your DNS table for each domain name you want email hosting updated.
