Summary of changes to date

One of my mentors thought me the only thing constant in
life is change. While we should never seek change for just the purpose
of change, when changes are good, we should move towards change rather than
away from it.
Dynamic Net, Inc. has made a number of changes this year
with the goal to increase the value you receive for every dollar you spend
with us, and to give you more options as you grow your business.
New (free) service offerings for Parallels H-Sphere hosting
customers implemented between July 2003 to date include the following:
In July 2003, we
brought back plan stacking
where you could upgrade to a hosting plan that brought you to the close
equivalence of several plans stacked together. That way you could save
money on disk space and mail resources.
We also implemented using
Real Time Black Hole Lists to prevent SPAM from reaching your email box
Through this free service, we are blocking approximately
50,000 SPAM emails per day per email server (we have four email servers) for
a total of approximately 200,000 SPAM messages per day.
This service compliments the SPAM tagging feature of
SpamAssassin we implemented back in April of this year.
In June we started an
affiliate program that
puts money in your pocket for referring business to Dynamic Net, Inc.
This compliments the "Refer a Friend"
program we put into place in January of this year.
We also started DNI
Business Central in June as a way to increase traffic to your site, and
to provide easier ways for you to promote your site.
In May we announced the second generation of
Managed Virtual Private Servers
(VPS). The new VPS offering provides increased disk space, and moves
to a new technology for sharing the server's CPU and RAM called "fair share
technology." The offering also includes true root access, and the use
of the most recent version of the FreeBSD operating system.
In April we announced our move to a completed shared
hosting automation packaged called
Parallels H-Sphere.
Ryan May, our director of managed hosting services began
those migrations in May; and
working together we are almost finished.
In March, we started offering
streaming media services
which allows you to easily stream almost any audio and video media type with
little effort on your part.
