Spam Assassin upgraded from 2.6.4 to 3.0.0 By Peter M. Abraham October 2004 We upgraded our spam tagging software -- Spam Assassin -- from version 2.6.4 to 3.0.0 on Saturday, October 2, 2004. Sometimes we will get a phone call from our clients thanking us they have close to zero spam in their in-box.  Sometimes we don't hear anything unless the amount of untagged spam gets to a certain number that a client feels is unacceptable. We care about the spam battle; and we spend at least one hour per week (sometimes several) keeping our spam tagging rules up to date, reporting spam to spamcop.net, and working with you, our customers, to ensure we are only tagging spam as spam. If you ever get valid email tagged as spam, please forward one copy of that email with all headers to our support department; and, we will work with you to get it untagged.
