Essence of Possibilities

“The rock that is an obstacle in the path of one
person, many times becomes the stepping stone for another” – Essence of
Possibilities
Just the other day, I was reading a news group thread
about a 13 year old child who was blind from birth.
Some local charities got together to help this 13 year
old establish his own hosting company. His parents helped him establish the
business in terms of licenses, and the ability to accept credit cards
on-line. His neighbors and extended family members promised to help with
technical support issues.
Most of the people reading and participating in this
thread could see with their own eyes (some with glasses, some with out).
Yet, most of the people reading the thread chose to see
obstacles. They pointed out various reasons why a 13 year old blind person
could not run their own business.
While sad, it was ironic that a 13 year old blind child
could see more clearly than the adult counterparts who could see.
That’s how it often is in life.
What do you see before you? Do you see obstacles or
stepping stones?
I challenge you to start looking at the rocks, pot
holes, fences, poles, and other things you perceive as barriers in your life
as stepping stones to your dreams. |
